Prepaid carrier Tracfone will launch Samsung Galaxy J2 SM-S260DL (aka S260DL) soon in Q2 2019.
Several days ago, the Samsung SM-260DL received the FCC Approval, and according to the FCC documents, the SM-S260DL is headed to Tracfone.
The FCC listings also confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy J2 (S260DL) is a variant of the Galaxy J2.
Thanks to a user agent profile for SM-S260DL, we get to know that the model will be called Samsung Galaxy J2 Core Plus.
Powered by Exynos 7570 Soc, The Samsung Galaxy J2 S260DL features a 1.4GHz CPU, a 5.0″ PLS TFT LCD 540 x 960 (qHD) display, 2GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It has a 2,600 mAh battery and comes with Android Oreo 8.1.
It is reported that Cricket Wireless will also launch a variant of the Galaxy J2, Namely Samsung Galaxy J2 Pure J260AZ.
Samsung Galaxy J2 S260DL and Samsung Galaxy J2 Pure J260AZ are exactly the same devices with the same hardware specs.
Tracfone has not announced the price and release date for the device yet.
