Tracfone Samsung SM-S260DL receives FCC certification

The FCC has just approved a new Tracfone prepaid Samsung smartphone carrying the model number SM-S260DL

The FCC appearance hints that the Samsung SM-S260DL could be available soon.

Like many other Tracfone phones, The SM-S260DL will be available through Tracfone, Net10, Straight Talk and many other Tracfone prepaid brands.

As you can see from the above screenshot, The model name of the device is SM-S260DL and it is Tracfone Wireless branded.

According to the SAR test report submitted to the FCC, The SM-S260DL supports LTE bands B2, B4, B5, B112, B13, B66, and B71.

The “DL” String in the model number suggests that It is a GSM phone and uses AT&T or T-mobile Towers.

Unfortunately, The  FCC documents did not mention the SM-S260DL specs in details.

Maybe the SM-S260DL will come with Android Oreo 8.1 out of the BOX.

So far, there are no words on the release date, specs and features of the SM-S260DL from Tracfone or Samsung.
